Re: What do i do

Wash some clothing.
Have a place set up for baby to sleep

In the next few weeks:
Pack a hospital bag
Install infant seat in car
Unpack and assemble some baby gear (monitor, swing, bouncer)
Sterilize bottles if you are formula feeding
Sterilize pacifiers if you are going to use them

Honestly, there isn't much you need in the beginning.

pack hospital bag, wash and sterilize some of the babies things, prepare some meals that you can freeze so you don't need to cook when you get home Chat Icon

This is pretty much all that I did leading up to DS's birth and I have 3 weeks to go. The only thing I want to do now is REALLY clean the apartment (like scrub - we have a cat and her hair gets EVERYWHERE) and start making meals to freeze for the first few weeks he is born. Luckily DH knows how to cook and it will be summer so we can BBQ which is easier but still want some meals done.
