What did your toddler have for lunch today..problem here..
What did you give your toddler for lunch today??
Megan lives on grilled cheese and macaroni! I cant take it anymore. And now she is constipated. I dont want to give her cheese for lunch but I know she wont eat anything else.
I need suggestions FAST! Thanks so much!

what about giving her veggies with it? or veggies with cheese?
I make sure the kids eat fruit and/or veggies at every meal

-Organic turkey breast (2 slices)
- (1) Cup of homemade organic minestrone soup (w/zucchini, onions, garlic, tomatoes, beans, carrots, celery, potatoes, ditalini pasta, and chicken stock) - This soup is the BEST way to hide veggies. She does not know they're in there. She will eat veggies, but lately has been giving me a challenge about it.
-(1) organic string cheese
- 1/2 sippy cup of water.
now for a snack -
wasa crisp cracker w/natural peanut butter

mini ravioli with alfredo sauce and peas
try giving her pears or even peaches...that should help her along

Will she eat mandarin oranges. My kids go through a can of those at one meal and lets just say it keeps them regular!

Today Emily had 2 hard boiled eggs, minus the yolk (she says, "I not like that cheese part mommy") and a yogurt.
I agree that the mandarin oranges keep Emily "regular" also...

My DD and DS will eat almost anything. Here are some favorites:
Cheese quesadillas
Rice and beans
Chicken nuggets and steamed veggies
PB+J with fruit
Hummus with veggies
Chickpea curry
Okra curry

they eat alot of veggies--starting with breakfast...eggs w cheese, asparagus or broccoli and tomatoes...
fruit and cherrios---during the day, what we eat at night...
my kids love broccoli raab...
maybe try that deceptionally delicious or some of the Martha stewart fun foods...
kids train parents...at this age bribe her.
you can have cheese if u take one bite of a veggie..
or take her shopping-give her a mini cart--take her to all good foods---soy or whole milk yogurt--then juices--then snacks---let her pick
give her a lower shelf in the fridge where she can choose all day long..she will feel impowered.
