What did you wear to DCs Baptism?

Yes, I am last minute woman. My sister and I are going shopping tomorrow.
I am on the "plus' size.
I want to wear a dress.
Any ideas?

i wore a skirt suit, i was going to wear a dress also( i baptised my kids around this time of year) but i thought a suit jacket was more appropriate for church.
I bought my suit at Zara in Roosevelt Field.

I wore a grey pin stripe suit for church and black capris and a lace shirt to the party since the party was the following week.

I wore a dress to Sarah's (June) and a sweater and skirt to Andy's (October). Surprisingly, I found both in Sears. I'd gone shopping with my mom and she said we should look there and I went just to placate her and was surprised that they had some cute, inexpensive stuff. I didn't want to spend a lot of money since I was trying to lose weight and hoped to never need to wear them again.

Thank You ladies. Im going to try Lane Bryant and believe it or not Sears (I have had some luck there in the past). I LOVE Kohls but not so much their dress selections. My sister suggested Macy's, but, we shall see. Don't want to spend too much $$. I have so much going on this year its crazy...Being that I am the mom, I want to look "good".

I wore a dress I got from Target.com that was Isaac Mizrahi. I don't have a good picture of it but it fit nice b/c it had a high waist and a fuller aline skirt. But if you're shopping now most recently I found a dress right before Easter at Burlington Coat Factory that was very flattering and not expensive so you might try there. There were actually a few that had an empire waist and A-line skirt. Also, I am having very good luck with faux wrap dress b/c they are stretchy they're very forgiving but don't have to be plus size. also for dresses specifically I wouldn't really recommend Lane Bryant as much as I would Dress Barn. They always have a nice selection of flattering dresses in both misses and womans (plus).

Avenue has some really nice spring dresses out right now. And you can always find coupons for them.
