What could this be?
Sydney slept poorly last night and seemed very tired this morning and fussy. I brought her to daycare and when I dropped her off the main teacher wasnt there for me to let her know this. I received a call from the daycare about an hour after I dropped her off that they think she may be sick. She threw up and has a temperature of 100. They thought that she also was very sleepy and were going to see if she would fall alseep and she did. She normally doesnt take a nap until close to 12. They call me with an update about an hour after the first call that she is still sleeping and now her temp is 100.6. They will let her sleep and keep me posted. They guess it could be teething. I hope they are right. DH is away and I am exhausted from last night. Is it bad of me to leave her there and stay at work? Obviously if she gets any worse I will leave but for now she is sleeping so it doesnt make sense for me to go get her, right? I am not sure what to do as you can tell by my rambling.

If she is sleeping right now then leave her, unless they call you back and say her temp has gone up.
You can keep calling them and checking on her.

Re: What could this be?
100.6 technically isn't a fever just yet... it's elevated, but not a fever, and more indicative of teething. I know with my daughter when the teething is REALLY bad and the tooth is about to break through the skin, her temperature hovers around 100.3 and she gets VERY cranky, clingly, mushy, huggy and sleepy. I would put a call in to your pediatrician though, just in case.
