What could be the cause?

For the last two months, one of our cats has continously climbed between my DH and I when we are in bed. He has always climbed up on the bed when were getting into bed, but for some reason he started to sleep in btwn us. It has gotten to the point that if DH and I are sleeping too close to one another, he will climb on our backs and sleep on us.

Does anyone know of a reason why he might be doing this?

I know my male cat thinks that we are married - if my husband comes near me when he is in the room- he gets jealous
