What could be going on? Falls asleep but wakes up 10 minutes later.

DS is 13 months and seems to have come down with a cold, no fever as of now.

I've put him down for a nap 3 times today and each time he has fallen asleep BUT, he wakes up about 10-15 minutes later. He tries to fall asleep again but can't.

Now he's just sitting in his crib quietly staring at the crib rails while rubbing his eyes.

I guess it could be related to the cold but he just has a runny nose, not really congested.

What do you guys think is going on here? I need DS to sleep!

He could have an ear infection and not realize the pain until he lays down, the fluid in the ear. I would call the ped just to rule it out.
