What comes first..crawling, or sitting?
and when did your DC do each of these? DS is doing like a military secret agent movement. face down..grunting..drool alll over, and he shimmies..but actually gets places..mostly circles ha!

sitting first then came crawling for us
He was a late sitter. started (wobbly) around 7 months and then was fully sitting well close to 7.5 months
Crawling shortly after at 8 months.

both my girls sat up unassisted before crawling. But they both couldn't get into the sitting position on their own until about 1-2 weeks after they crawled.

DD is 5 months and she just started sitting up....
DD#1 didn't start crawling til she was 7 months

sitting then crawling...and they are so cute when they start crawling and then start rocking back and forth to give them the momentum to sit up from the crawling position....

DD sat up first. Around 4.5-5 months.
She was crawling at 7.5 months.

sitting first..... i think we had good unsupported sittingat 6 months. crawling started at 10 months

Sitting came first.
At 7 months on the nose she was sitting unassisted.
She started to army crawl around 8.5/9 months and the full on crawling around 11 months.

Sitting at 4-5 months. Crawling at 6+ months.

Generally sitting comes first, but DS did not sit unsupported until he learned to crawl at 7 months. Sitting by himself followed a few days later.

DD was about 6 - 6.5 months when she was sitting unassisted.
now she is 7 months +1 week and she crawled (really crawled) TODAY!!! for the past week shes been holding on to things and getting up on her own.
