What color should I get?

I know doing this without a picture is hard, but any opinions on this would be appreciated:

I *think* I want drapes for my sliding glass door in my LR but I also want a scarf valance for a bay window that matches (there are already wood blinds on it.) My couch is olive green, the room has dark wood accents. I have a goldish/yellowish accent wall and then another wall that is a pale yellow. The other two walls are off-white. Any drape suggestions?

I would probably buy off-white, or something in a very pale green or yellow, though the green may be too much with one wall and the couch having shades of green.

Re: What color should I get?

Sounds like my house and color scheme - except my walls are all goldish beige, but my couches are olive green too ("moss"). I currently have olive velvet drapes on my slider and nothing on my bay window. I did get solid silk drapes for the bay though that match the walls. I think it's going to look really nice. Unless you have a 3rd color in there, it's hard to say what else to put. I use to have navy blue but now I have an open floor plan and my granite is black so the blue is now phased out. I do want to get warm weather drapes for the slider in a more kid friendly material than silk since my kids will be putting their grubby hands on it alot. I saw a really nice semi sheer at JC Penney - its a coppery color with gold and olive as well as a lighter green, beige - thin stripes. But I have cherry wood so Im not sure how the coppery color will look. I suppose I'm no help here but my dilemma and color scheme are so similar to yours (great taste BTW Chat Icon )
