what color paint?
our apartment is 2 levels, 1st floor and basement. the floor in the basement (which has our bedroom, another bedroom, and another living room area) is peachy tile. right now the walls are kinda a pale orange color and the baseboards are white (we never repainted from when we moved in 5+ years ago), except for 2 walls which were repainted when we repainted our upstairs. the wall with the staircase on it (so the wall is part of both floors) and the wall perpendicular to it are a creamy off white with light green baseboards.
what color do you think we should paint the rest of the walls? i think i want the baseboards/trim white.

what color paint?
To go with the peach tile, you could do anything in the gray family - light or darker gray, greige, even a slate blue-gray or a grayish/lavender color
