What can you actually store in...

the drawer on the bottom of the oven?

I tried to put some baking pans in there once and the non-stick coating burned off on all of them and made a horrible mess :(

Re: What can you actually store in...

I don't store anything there, bc I actually use the broiler a lot- it's a pain.
But I would think anything that could be used to bake at a high temperature could be stored there.

Re: What can you actually store in...

Im sure its really a drawer but you should check that its not a broiler. I had an old stove in my apt...where the broiler was in the bottom...it looked like a storage drawer but it was for broiling.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

I did that when I moved into my apt. I told my mom and she told me to look and see if it was a broiler...sure enough, it was!!

Well glad that is solved!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

That's excatly what I was going to say. I'm used to the drawer being the broiler, so even when it's an actual drawer, I get all freaked out & don't want to store things there.
But you can store the broiler pan there!
