What can I do, if anything?
DS is three and a half months old. Starting on Monday we stop swaddling him and he's been sleeping great, except now he's able to move around his crib and is waking up several times a night because he's hitting the crib. We have a breathable bumper up, I don't think he's hurting himself I think he's just moving around more than he used to. He's also starting to get himself up on his side and it seems like he's going to roll over soon. He's waking up in his crib horizontal during the night and in the morning. Is this just a phase because he's exploring or something I could do to help him stay in position and calm during the night. He's going right back to sleep once we move him.

He could feel a little less cozy and secure without his swaddle so he's restless and moving around? Maybe try a sleepsack so he feels like he's "in" something (and it's super safe)? DS is 12.5 months old and still sleeps in a sack. Other than that, I don't think there's anything you can do to keep him in place.

DS "travels" all around his crib throughout the night. I don't think anything is wrong with it. He just moves around to get comfy.

Re: What can I do, if anything?
There's not a lot to do. Dd2 is almost 6 months. When we stopped swaddling we put her in a sleep slack. Then we thought she didn't like that as she was trying to roll over. We stopped that. But then it was like she didn't know what to do with her legs so she was kicking and crazy lol. So we put the sleep sack back on. She did better. But now she moves all around her crib. She almost does 360's by morning haha. I think just helping him until he figured out how to move back and forth is all you can do.
Many sleepiness night for us until she figured it all out. Hang in there
