What can I do?

One of my cats is scratching like crazy. She actually has little patches all around her next where there is no fur and they are not bleeding, but definately irritated. The skin on her head feels really gross, too. Almost scaley and crummy. I feel bad for her because it's probably really annoying. I have 3 other cats but none of them seem to be itching like this. I cant really get a hold of her to get a close look because none of them like to be held.

Should I take her to the vet?

I'm not a cat owner but I would at least call the vet to see if they can suggest.

I'm guessing they'll tell you to come in, which you just might want to do anyway.

Re: What can I do?

Is it by the ears ?

My cat had really bad ear mites and was scratching the crap out of neck/ ears.
being a new cat owner, I thought he was just scratching, I didnt realize there was a cause for it. When I finally brought him, he had a bad case of it.
I wouldn't wait again.

you probably need to take him to the vet.

If it is ear mites, he can pass it to all the other cats too
