ink does not bother me - i don't care where it is.
piercings make me sick, i don't know why, i really find them unattractive when they are everywhere

i would say wow look at all of those tattoos on her! but i knew a co-worker aguy like that he had toes all over his arms and my job was so against it and after a while they fired him. i was firends with him and i was so mad that they did that to him!

"Covered" in tattoos - I assume you mean alot of tattoos...
I would think she's one of those people who got hooked on getting tattoos...also trying desperately to be "different".

i like tats but a huge one or a full sleeve....well i just think that they will look weird when they are 60 and will regret it (male or female...but mostly female)
when i was on the cruise i saw this 60 something woman with a big tat on her leg....and it just looked GROSS.
ETA...When i see a girl with a crap load of piercings i just think....she is going through a phase....
BUT anyone with those things in their ears, the holes...well i think they look like idiots and will look even more stupid when they take those out....cause that fad IS OUT

I agree having a tattoo doesn't make you 'different'. My answer still stands though, I would think she is desperately trying to be different or get attention, (key word being 'desperate')or she is one of those people that gets hooked on tattoos, which is fine if you stay that way. If later on you realize it was just a phase, you might regret something that big (general 'you').
Same thing for excessive piercings.
