What are your favorite nurseries for plants/herbs/shrubs/trees?
Spring is here! (or, so they say. Sure doesn't feel like it yet!  ) I can hardly wait to get out in the yard.
I enjoy visiting various nurseries to see what all they offer. What are your favorite nurseries on Long Island that are open to the public - not just wholesale or landscape contractors.

Locust Ave Farm in Bohemia.
Amazing
More for hanging baskets and flats and herbs/veges
Not sure about bushes and trees.
But their hanging baskets and flats are AMAZING

yes, that's where I go too. Really like their prices, better than Bayport Flowers.

DH loves Prianti Farms in Dix Hills. He got all of our landscaping trees and plants there. Prices are reasonable and everything is going strong 6 years later.
