What are the sonogram "milestones?"
At which appointmetns do you get sonograms? June 12th will be my third appointment, I have only had one sonogram-the internal-and I didn't even get a picture to take home! I want another one already so I can see the progress! Anyone have any ideas?

Re: What are the sonogram "milestones?"
I know I have an ultrascreen when I'm 12 weeks, then I have a reg dr's appt the week after, but it's just a doppler no sono, and then I think you have one at 16 weeks and 20...I could be totally off though, what do I know....

Re: What are the sonogram "milestones?"
Each Dr's office is different. I had one at 8 weeks, then my the ultrascreen at 12 weeks, then my level II at 20 weeks. Then sometimes after that some Doc's dont require you to get any more sonos. My OB office had them again at 30-32 weeks.

Re: What are the sonogram "milestones?"
Each dr definitely does it differently. I had one at 8wks, 10wks and 12 wks so far. My next one is scheduled for 16 weeks, but my dr said if 4 weeks is too long for me to go without hearing the heartbeat, I can schedule an appmt around 14 wks to come in for a sono to get peace of mind.

Re: What are the sonogram "milestones?"
The last timeI went was at 24 weeks. I am going in another 2 weeks from today which would have me at 29 weeks. Unless I report something alarming or unless something happened that is of major cause for concern, the doctor advised me against having too many sonograms too close together or my insurance won't cover it andI do not think he wants to be fraudulent by making stuff up.
So far, this has been a rather uneventful (physically -thank G-d) pregnancy. I feel a lot of movement so I am using that as my guide.

I've had two internals so far as well, and saw the heart going bump bump bump both times. So neat!
