What are the odds????
Thought I would share the weirdness that I just experienced.
So the dinner conversation Wed night w/ DH, my mom and MIL included people who should come off the shower invite list. My mom said to remove my friend's wife A.C. and DH said to remove his friend's wife J.P. and his other friend's girlfriend M.M.
Something must be wacky in the universe because I got a call from A.C.'s hubby yesterday out of the blue asking how we are doing, how I am feeling, wanting to catch me up on how his wife and baby are doing, etc. THEN J.P. called the house AND my cell in error looking for her friend Cheryl from work and ended up asking me a million baby questions and saying "oh good April, I thought you were due in Feb and just didn't invite me to your shower!" She also DID ask how much weight I gained and personal stuff about BFing just as I predicted (blech, we are not buddies). THEN, I saw that I had a new myspace message this morning (sent last night), and it was from M.M. It said "hey cheryl, just dropping a line to see how yer doing. how's the bambino? thought i'd say hey. see you guys eventually i guess. cheers, M.M."
I probably talk to A.C.'s hubby, J.P. and M.M. one-on-one each like 2-3 times a year. ALL 3 contacted me the day after the list cuts were suggested...what the hell? I emailed my mom and asked her to put them back on out of guilt.
