Things you will try to teach your child?

Me, I will go with what my parents did..


Open Communication always was honest with where I was, who I was with, and for the most part what I was doing...

Strong self esteem, never let the insecure miserable people get to you or hurt you..

have a big heart and be friends with everyone. not everyone will love you, but be true to yourself and you will attract the most loving and loyal friends.



Do not gossip and stand by your word.. If you said it.. Admit it..

Gosh...there are so many things but on the top of my list are these two:

1- Believe in yourself and stand up for yourself.

2- To be well mannered.

1. I want my children to know that they can come to me with ANYTHING and I will do my best to support them.

2. Definitely strong self-esteem. I didnthave much of that growing up. I would hate for my children to always feel bad about themselves.

3. I do not want them to be judgemental of people. There is nothing worse than forming opinions about people before you really know them.

4. Already, my daughter has such great manners. I hope to do the same with my son, and make sure they keep that up.

I'm sure I can think of more. But those are the things that stand out the most.

Respect. Plain and simple. Respect for yourself, respect for authority, respect other people's beliefs, etc.

I think once a child knows respect, everything else falls into place.

1. To treat everyone equal and with respect.

2. Good self esteem....always believe in themselves.

It's important that he be kind to everyone
It's important that he feel good about himself and the decisions he makes
And most i,portant is that he know that mommy and daddy will support him no matter what.

I have a little boy....and the most important thing I want to convey is: RESPECT (especially for women!)

Where has all the chivalry gone?? (If my DS ever lets a door slam in a woman's face........GRRRRR.)

One of the most important things I want DS to know is to be appreciative for his blessings and enjoy life. To know how lucky he is to have the love and support he was born with, to know that material possessions is not the key to happiness, to have dreams and pursue them and to be his own person!
