what are the hot nail polish colors right now?
I am assuming the dark red/Burgundy/brown phase is over... Are we suppose to be going with the spring colors now? What are they, anyone knows!

I heard navy, metallic, hot pink and "mushroom" colors are hot for spring!
Check out Demi's nails. LOVE the color!!

I am wearing "Mink Muffs" by Essie right now
I just bought Lollipop also from Essie for my next manicure....LOVE how bright & cheerful it is

i am still loving Essie Lady Godiva and Essie Chocolate Kisses
in a few weeks, ill switch over to pinks, Essie Soca and Essie Fuji!

Major pet peeve of mine is when nails are not polished 100%! Like hers, the sides are missing polish and um one nail is still showing some leftover nail polish from her last mani.

Deb that was my first thought too  It's actually a big reason why I do my own manis, no one seems to know how to polish the entire nail

Becca.....look at the 1st nail, its not completely polished! Ita, could be nail growth but that pointer nail...nope!
sorry for hijack-
colors for me...im still into the dark blues, black, browns.
I dont care for that nude color.
I know Essie and OPI came out witht their spring line of colors. they are ok. I may use one on toes for FL!

I am actually very much into bright colors right now - hot pink, tangerine. I like those nude colors but I am pale to begin with so they look terrible on me unless they are slightly darker.
On my toes right now: Essie Movers and Shakers
It's actually much brighter, almost fluorescent, in person!

I noticed it before i even really looked at the color...it looks like her fakes have some growth on them...about a week since her last fill in....

opaque white nails (obvi this looks better on a shorter natural nail).
They used it at the Spring Summer 2010 LAMB show...the color is called Fleet Week by Dashing Diva.

This drives me nuts when I get my nails done that I have to tell the lady to paint more on the sides.

I love this!! I personally am not a fan of the putty color. With my coloring it just wouldn't look good.
I am so glad someone started this thread. I've been doing the dark red all winter, but i feel like this time of year warrants something lighter!

I have a pretty light skin tone and I just got the putty/mushroom color. It was Essie, I can't remember the name
It looks AWESOME!! I'm obsessed. Went out last night and got a bunch of "ooooooo what color is that, I like it?"

As much as I hate the half painted nails ( I used to go to someone who did a great job otherwise but I ALWAYS had to ask her to make sure to cover the whole nail, ugh!!), I feel like the putty/mushroom color is starting to grow on me. I normally prefer very classic looks, but I think that color might work on short nails... Hmmm... I would have to check it out on my own nails and see... Otherwise, I will just go with the waltz or Mademoiselle or something...
