what are foods you don't like
but you know they are good for you so you force yourself to eat them?
mine is broccoli  hate it. but i eat a few small pieces in my salad b/c i know the fiber is good for me.

I hear you, but I mean foods that are good for the baby. I never used to eat veggies, now I do b/c I know that its good for me and the baby.

Salmon. I don't like fish or seafood, but know it's really good for the baby. I don't *hate* salmon, but there are certainly other things I'd rather order off the menu or make on the grill, but I'm making sure I eat at least 1 serving a week.

I find alternative foods. I have a different kind of food.

Thats what prenatals are for! I have despised veggies throughout my pg and haven't eaten many. I do drink the V8 fusion drinks to get *some* veggies in.

I don't eat anything that I don't like. I'm not a big veggie person so the baby really gets no veggies from me - besides some corn and peas. That's about it.

I'll try and substitute though...like right now I really don't like veggies but I love fruit, so I'll eat a lot of fruit instead....

Now I feel better for not eating many veggies at all! After reading "What to Expect" I figured I was practically killing the baby
I liked most veggies before I was pregnant, but now I'm having issues with many, brocolli esp., but I know what you mean about forcing some down for the baby. I figure the fiber is good for my constipation too. Salad is about the only thing I can stand, though not with tomatoes on it! I often don't like them either.
The other foods I can't stand (beef and coffee) are fine to skip, so I just don't eat them.

Same here. I love veggies. I'm a big food person, so if I don't like it why waste the calories eating it?? I do feel bad if i don't eat many veggies in a day (since sometimes I just don't feel like making a lot for dinner) so I started drinking V8, which I LOVE!!
