What a good day trip for the family??
My husband is a teacher and has off this week, so I figured I would take a day off and we can take DD out for the day......Any ideas...in suffolk area....I guess nassau to.

Long Island Children's Museum
Aviation Museum
Firefighters Museum
Open Play Places
In Conneticut there is a wonderful Children's Museum called "Stepping Stones" in South Norwalk (about 1 hour from NYC). They have a water room, a toddler room, a jungle adventure, outdoor bubble room and a quieter resource room with puzzles, books, and educational toys. We've been 2 times already an DS loves it.
