WHAT?!
Ok, someone explain this to me:
Two years ago we purchased our house. We had the inspector (who was a dingleberry, at best) do a radon test, which came back with levels just under 2.
This weekend the buyers of our house did a radon test. The levels came out to almost 6! How in the world can the levels vary so much in just 2 years?!
The guy we bought the house from was the biggest sheister the world has ever seen, and I wouldn't put it past him to keep all the windows open during the testing period. Or should I suspect that the inspector, in his incredible idiocy, screwed up the test? I'm just furious considering DH, myself and my little baby girl spend oodles of time in the basement on a daily basis

Wow, I really don't know anything about radon. I just hope you can get it taken care of quickly.

Re: WHAT?!
I heard it could depend on the time of year. I believe radon is higher in homes now/summer. What happened to you sounds awful, but i think it is fairly easy to get rid of. At least that is what we were told. Sorry to hear this.... I hope and know it will all work out!

Re: WHAT?!
Radon levels are a lot higher after it has rained. So if it has been raining then the levels will be a lot higher than if it were dry. I would want a retest and you probably should also remedy it.
