W.H.A.L.E. program
Interesting- I learned about this through St. Charles.
It's like a sticker for your car windown and for your car seat. IN case of an accident whih leaves the driver unconscious (or worse), the sticker on the back of the car seat has all sorts of info on the baby- name, birthdate, physician, medical history, etc.
WHALE= we have a little emergency.

At first, I thought this was going to be something about us pregnant ladies being 'whales' but I was surprised.
A very good idea, especially for medication/trauma of a baby-god forbid.

We have this. When we had our car seat inspected they gave us the stickers. It's a good idea. I need to get more stickers for the new baby.

this is a GREAT idea...
on new year's morning i was working in the emergency room and a mother and child were brought in who were involved in a car accident. the mom, unfortunately, was dead on arrival, but the baby was unharmed. problem was, there was no identification found on the scene so it took the staff all day to locate the child's family.
so, although it's morbid, i still think it's a smart thing to have the child's info convenient to rescuers.
