Went to Hick's at Lunch today (also question included)
First, they are having a 30% off sale on ceramic planters. I bought two beautiful planters for my succulents. I can't wait to plant them and put these two beautiful blue pots in my new garden bed. I'll take pics after I'm done.
So I wanted to ask about my Weeping Cherry Tree. They seem to be very helpful at Hick's, so I told the guy what I have on my leaves (cottony scale) and he recommend something. And it was sort of a green product, but none I've never seen before so I didn't buy it. I then explained that the leaves have holes in them and he told me that is not the cottony scale. CS only sucks on sap I believe he said. So something else is eating my leaves. Does anyone have any ideas of what is eating it if you have had this problem before? I don't see anything else but the CS on the leaves, but I guess when the weather is nicer, I'll be looking closer at the tree. Does anyone think I should just spray the whole tree with Neem Oil/dish soap and see if that helps or not? I want to save the little tree if I can, but this is becoming a pain in the neck at this point. We might pull it out next year if this keeps happening. I always see everyone else's Weeping Cherry's and they look beautiful. Any advise would be great. TIA!
