Well, the twins are walking and now we need shoes! HELP!
I was secretly hoping for late walkers but not so much!
They have beenwearing the robeez up until now and now it is getting too cold for just those shoes.
So BTDT moms, what was your babies' first walking shoe?

I got her foot measured at Stride Rite and then bought the shoes at Target in that size.

WE had gift certificates for Stride Rite.
I got them measured there and bought the shoes there.
They are a W foot and have a small foot so right now Stride Rite is the only brand that carries their size in a wide. If I could I would get them someplace cheaper.

hionestly, our dr told us to go with soft soles for as long as possible as long as she was inside.....it helped the soles of feet or something, then he suggested to go get any kind that has a "light" sole not heavy as it would throw her off...so we went to marshall's!

The kids feet are pretty wide as well! They have chunky monkey feet! I was going to go to stride rite today.
Did you buy the traditional "boot" shoes? Like the good ol' fashion white ones?

Did you buy the traditional "boot" shoes? Like the good ol' fashion white ones?
Those are a safe bet. I am not a fan of them though (style). Make sure the measure their feet correctly. I always double check what they do. Once she was off by 1/2 size too small.

Really! My son is a Wide with Stride Rite and he wears Pedipeds too. But he wears their largest size though, the 18-24 months.
