Well, phone interview went ok...
My DH said it went pretty good yesterday. He has a friend that works with the guy who's hiring at UNC and he emailed him to let him know that he did a phone interview with him and that it went ok. The guy emailed back saying that he talked to the guy that my DH interviewed with and he said that he will "most likely" be calling him in to do a face to face interview so he should look for an email or a phone call eventually. I'm a little upset at this response because "most likely" doesn't sound that good to me? It doesn't sound like he really liked my DH does it? I guess I'm just so worried he won't get the job.  I don't know if it's just a "guy" talking "guy" language or he's not sure he wants to bring my DH in for a face to face. What do you think? Thanks!

i don't think it sounds so bad. i mean this guy is not the one who makes the final say so he doesn't know for sure if the other one will call him back. just that he said that he will most likely call means that good things were said about your dh in front of him. don't you think!

Could be "guy language" - also perhaps the boss doesn't want to have the friend tell your DH something like he's a shoe in or something similar only to find out that's not the case so he made it seem low key. Just hold tight until he gets the call!
