Well, it looks like we're going back!!!

Caiden and I will be traveling without my DH and heading back to FLA to visit my sister again. It's her 30th B-day, her BF isn't doing anything for her, and she's been having man trouble, and he'll be gone my whole visit with her. So I thought I'd go and cheer her up. She LOVES to see Caiden. I also thought that this can be my last alone/bonding time with Caiden before the baby comes in September.

It's definitely going to be weird though. I'll be away from my DH for 3 nights. In almost 13 years we've only been apart 2 times. Once for only 1 night and another time for 2 nights. I'm a little upset that he's not coming, but I'm still hoping to have fun. Of course we'll make a visit to the Magic Kingdom again since it's FREE for us to get in! It just seems that for some reason that it doesn't seem right that I'm going without my DH? It feels wrong to me. But I'm sure he'll secretly enjoy his time to himself and do what he wants to do. I just hope that he misses us at least a little bit. I think I'm more worried about that. That he won't miss us!

Anyway... we have 2 weeks until we go. I just hope we have a good time!

*** I have to add that my sister is great! It wouldn't be possible for us to go without her! She is paying for everything again!!! Even food! There is just no way I could afford it otherwise. Sorry just wanted to mention how great she is!

AWWW There's nothing as special as sister bonding time ! It sounds like you'll have a GREAT time (even without DH ) sometimes sisters need to be alone and enjoy girlie time!
and it sounds like you 2 have a very special relationship in how you are both there for eachother at such perfect times.
Im sure she'll enjoy every minute with both of you! and daddy has some boy time to plan!

The funny thing is that growing up, even well into our twenties we HATED each other. We never got along. We would fight and beat each other up all the time. It's funny how things can change!

That happens, its so normal. Although my twin and I have always been very close, naturally we had our "sibling rivalry" days, where we'd fight over everything, steal eachothers clothes (in the teen years when we FINALLY dressed different )
but as much as you fight with a sibling, a sister is a sister ! (And a brother is a brother!)

I think its kinda nice that its just you and her. esp being that shes having BF trouble, i think she needs girl time, nothing against your hubby, but sometimes things work out the way they do for a reason.
