Well, I just called my R/E agent....
to put in our one last counter offer, and she said that the R/E agent had called her this morning and said the owner had accepted a bid at $376 yesterday afternoon. So, needless to say, we don't think he'll even glance at our offer. 
We know - if it was meant to be, it would have happened, but we can still be disappointed, and we are!

awww...cheer up. A lot of first accepted offers fall through. Even second offers fall through. Maybe you'll get another chance at it. Or maybe you'll find an even better house.

OMG, sooo funny, I just called about that one yesterday, and they told me they had just gone into contract!
There is more out there for us...sounds like you and I are in same boat, in same neighborhood.
That was an excellent price I thought!

looks like a great house - but there are so many out there now that you will find another one that you love.
We put a bid on MANY houses when we were going through the process (and that was when the market was hot and if you didn't make an offer when you left the house - it wouldn't be available when you got home) We got disappointed alot - but none of the houses even compare to the one we live in now!

Yeah.....the house was beautiful thorought. Now, to find another colonial that offers the same size and space!
