Well I get the "Bad Mom" award for the week.
Kevin and I were at Mom & Tot this morning and at the end all the kids get a snack. Kevin's milk-allergic so i bring his own snack but I let him sit at the table with the other kids.
Well he starts grabbing for this little girl's sippy so I pull his chair back a bit and continue to give him his fruit. I stupidly step back for a second and that's when he tumble forward right out of the chair!
Thank G*d it was a tiny kids chair and his guardian angel was watching because his forhead landed on the foot of one of the moms sitting next to him.
He still cried but isn't hurt (Thank goodness). I think he was just startled.
Some of the moms looked at me like I was the dumbest mom in the universe so it should be interesting going back next week.
Is 13 months a bit early to expect a little one to sit at a child's table, eat a snack off a napkin, and not touch the other kids stuff because most of the other kids were fine but it was too much for Kevin. Then again, its the first time he's sat at a table when not in his high-chair so I guess I'm just comparing too much.

Aww, I'm so sorry. Thankfully he is okay. That could've happen to ANYONE and the other mommies shouldn't have looked at you like that

Awww! Unfortunately, kids are going to get hurt...it happens to the best of us...except for those other moms, I guess they're above it  Glad he's OK!!

Aww -- I am glad he is OK.
I dont' know about 13 months though since we haven't reached it yet. I know Emily couldn't do it and she's 10 months.
How old were the other babies at the table?

That really could have happened to anyone. DD is 20 months old and while she can sit and eat snack, she would still be grabbing for the others kids things.
