Well, Daddy IS a science teacher
DD and I were painting the other day. She is a NEAT FREAK so she started saying she had paint on her arm. Nope, it's her veins on her wrist (us pale folks have see-through skin  ). So I tell her "no, those are called veins, they carry blood in our bodies".
So now, every time we see family or friends (not strangers thankfully ) she lifts up her sleeve and says "look at my veins...they carry blood in our bodies"
