Weird Pain Now for 24 Hours
I'm going to call the OB first thing tomorrow morning...
i have been having this nasty pain since Wednesday night and i'm getting worried...
your 'naughty bits' make a V. At the top of the v - on the left side....move to your right 3 inches and up a TINY bit (less than an inch). RIGHT THERE is killing me....
The ONLY way i have felt relief was in the car tonight - i reclined the seat 100% and stretched my arms WAY above my head and stretched my legs the same way.... Other than that - i've pretty much been in pain constantly...
i'm not a big, call the doc for everything (though i mean NO offense to anyone who does)...but i'm getting nervous... NO spotting at all...
I just took two Tylenol...if that works - maybe i'll reconsider...but i'm not hopeful... This has been a ROYALLY craptastic week...i just want it to end already.
Does this pain sound familiar to anyone????

Jess, that exact pain doesn't sound familiar to me, but you have to remember that your body is moving and shifting to make room for the baby. Definitely call the OB if you don't feel comfortable. I'm sure it's nothing...

i'm sure it's nothing too - but the pain is sharp at times (i've doubled over a few times today at work) and has been in the exact same spot since yesterday - that's my main worry....

Did you drink enough water? I had sharp pains like that at about 16 weeks.. and the dr told me it was because I was dehydrated... but he tells me thats the reason for almost every ache and pain I get!!! hope you get some relief!!!

since the GD test - i have been drinking one full bottle of gatorade a day - just to keep myself okay...
today - i drank one of those and a bottle of water too...
if it were just a pain - i'd be okay - but the stabby instances are what KILL...

It sounds like gas or dehyrdation. I would drink lots of water. Gatorade has sugar in it so I would try and not drink as much or just steer clear of it. I had cramping similar to that and once I drank A LOT of water in a short period of time and kept my legs up it helped. With DS it was around 27 weeks and with DD it was around 34 weeks.
If it is gas, it's painful especially when it is traveling and sometimes it doesn't travel and just stands still. You can try massaging that area or laying on your left side to pass it. The water will help with the gas too.

i think i had something like that these stabbing pains at maybe 18 weeks or so! and when i read about it it was something about your uterus expanding and your ligaments beings pulled on and it was really painful i never asked my OB about but everything with us is great and the pains just went away on their own but if u want reassurance just check with ur OB im sure ur fine!

Sounds like the same thing I went to the ER for last week...they told me it was round ligament pain. I didn't know it could hurt bad enough to have me balled up on the bedroom floor. I too felt much better reclining with my arms up over my head. I hope you feel better.

I am actually going to the OB this am bc i have had some strange discomfort too. I would just feel better going in. You should do the same. Ti will give you piece of mind for the weekend.

I've had similar pains before. Sometimes it helps to drink water or go to the bathroom. It could just be ligaments stretching also.

Stabbing sounds like round ligamernt pain. Not pleasant, but harmless. Either way, I think it's good to call the DR so you have peace of mind - let us know what the DR says!

it felt better this AM...and i'm drinking water... After sitting here for a short while - the pain is back, but nowhere near as bad....
Going to wait a short while and decide to call or not to call....

Jess this just happen to me but mine was a cyst that burst. It was a very sharp, shooting pain on my left side for a few days. Not sure if you have had this before. But I just went to the OB yesterday cause I to was very worried. Thank god it was nothing. I hope its nothing

Hey Jess!! I had the same pain only on my right side... It ended up being gas. It lasted about a day in a half.. and oh yes it was painful!!! Hope your doing well!!!! We have our Level 2's on the same day!! What time is yours??? I'm at 845 am...

i STILL have it - now it's worse at night...i don't get it!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think it's the baby though - because i can feel the pain, move it, have a few minutes of relief and then it goes RIGHT back to where it was....
my level 2 is at 2:00!!!!!!!!!!!!
