Weird or ok?
We're tossing around the idea of going to Mrytle Beach for spring break. We mentioned it to DHs brother and told him he was welcome to come if he wanted. Here's the thing. I looked into getting a 3 bedroom timeshare but there are none available. So my BIL would have to share a bedroom with my kids, or sleep on a pullout couch. Sharing the bedroom I don't think is a big deal, but the room has one king size bed. Do you think that's ok? We're all really close if that makes a difference.

Whatever you, DH and BIL feel comfortable with. No one can tell you it's right or wrong.
Alternative would be to have DH and his brother room together, you get the kids.

ITA, i'd also ask him what he wants to do.

I think it's weird to have your brother share a bed with your children. Why can't they share the bed with you and your husband

Re: Weird or ok?
On a selfish end, it's our timeshare and BIL would be taking essentially a free trip with us. It's no longer a vacation for DH and I if we have to share a room with our kids- that's why we have a two bedroom timeshare in the first place. I wish this unit had two full or queens in the second bedroom like the unit we own, but I know this place only has one king in each bedroom. The other option would be for him to sleep on the pullout couch.

Weird or ok?
I would tell him the sleeping options (couch or sleeping with the kids) and let him decide if he still want to come

Re: Weird or ok?
If I were you I would only present the couch and if I were him I would only want the couch. Not talking about anything creepy- just comfort wise.

Yeah so then offer him the couch.
Or I would be honest and say you can't get a unit big enough.

Weird or ok?
I would either ask for a rollaway to put in the kids room (if it would fit) or have him sleep on the couch.
My kids move around a ton in their sleep and I would feel bad having someone else sleep with them (because you really don't get much sleep when they are in bed with you).

Re: Weird or ok?
I see no problem with my brother sharing a room with my kids on vacation. I bet your kids will love it. Everyone is going to have their own opinions on this, based on their family dynamic. Do what is good for your family!
Have fun!
