Weird one: what gift for your ex bf's wife's 40th birthday???update
umm yeah. help.
eta: they're cool with my folks and invited us all to a bash....
6/7/13 update: so i gave the big wine bottle and a nice bracelet, no thank you. Mom also got no thank you. Saw the chick today, didn't say a word.
So &%$# rude. I shoulda just given a hershey bar

My ex is actually on his second wife! LOL He and I are still very close. So I guess I'd get her something nice. I am happy for them. Its like a strange "wish you were my sister in law" type thing.
but im a strange one and this is a strange thing we have.  We dated on and off for 5yrs but not since the 90s but we've been friends since we were both 18 so its kinda hard not be part of eachothers lives.
But if you're not comfy just think what would you bring to the wife of your husband's boss if you were invited to the party? Wine is always nice (if they drink). If not, then something simple.

yeah they drink alright. she's been super to my mom so i feel like i should get something really nice. maybe wine and a bracelet or something
