Weird diarrhea virus????
My DD had this and my DS now has it. Its just mainly really smelly diarrhea and a lot of gas.
Has anyone had this too? How long does it usually last. DD's lasted a while and was wondering if thats normal.

DD had the stomach virus 2 weeks ago. After that, she had bad diarrhea that stunk so bad! It lasted 3 days and she was also "fluffing" all over the place!

My DS had that when he was about a year or so old (I'm guessing at the age) it lasted about a week. I had never heard of it before but the DR said that's what it was. It lasted about a week. The only symptom was diarrhea and a very sore tushy!

We've had it here a few times. Its some form of the rotovirus. It will pass. Just make sure they drink.
ETA it can last a few days up to 10 days.

I could very well be norwalk or something similar - but you might want to get your DC checked out to make sure since it is diarrhea that it isn't b.c she ate something that was bad (ecoli, salmonilla, etc).
