Weird Belly Button Issue
I just gave DD a bath and while I was undressing her, I noticed that her belly button is red inside and around it. Because of the redness, I smelled it and it is smelling pretty stinky. I have to take her to the Dr. in the morning anyway because she is not feeling well- dry cough, runny eys very hoarsed voice. I have just never seen an infected belly button before. I put aquaphor on it for now- not sure that was such a great move on my part. Has anyone's DC had an infected BB before?

It's probably from the heat...all those little hidden spots run the risk of being not so fresh. I would use some rubbing alcohol and clean it out with a q-tip.
