Weight loss
I just wanted to write this here because of all the people worried about their weight gain. I just had DS 1 week ago today... and I am already down 22 lbs!! I gained a lot (56 lbs) so I still have 34 to go, but these first 22 lbs came off without me doing a thing. It is mostly baby weight, blood loss, and my swelling is down, but I was still very happy and surprised when I weighed myself this morning. So try not to stress about weight gain!

Re: Weight loss
I had the same thing happen after my first pg. I gained 42 lbs. I lost 21 the first week, and then the rest came off more slowly.
Congrats!!

Re: Weight loss
Same thing happened to me. I gained 50 lbs during the pregnancy and lost the first 22 pounds without even trying.

Re: Weight loss
Thank god!!! I was happy to read this post. I know you have no choice to gain weight when you're pregnant but it's hard (to say the least) to have to watch that number on the scale go up and up and up. It seems like the weight goes on so easy even when you're trying so hard to eat right most of the time. Good to know that some weight will fly off!!!
BTW - Baby Landon is SO, SO cute!!!! What a handsome little boy.

Re: Weight loss
2 weeks out and I'm down 20lbs. I only gained 30, and I think at least 5 of the remaining 10 lbs are in my boobs!

Re: Weight loss
Thats great Julz!
Its true, I gained 50 lbs, lost 25 in the first 2-3 weeks, lost 35 total within the first 2 months. Now the last 10-15 are being alittle more stubborn, but I also haven't tried at all!
Dont stress, it comes off!
