weight/length of a 4 month old??
How much did you DC weigh at their 4 month well check? length?
DD weighed 16 lbs 5 oz and is 25 inches long. Is this pretty much average? or is she big?

Did they tell you what percentile she is in?
At DD's 4 month visit she was 13lbs 13oz, 24"...50th percentile.

yeah it was a high percentile...but her head size was like 50%. she has a small head.

DS is 3 1/2 months old and he weighed 14 pounds 6 ounces and was 25 1/2 inches long. She described him as "long and lean" - nice to hear since that doesn't describe anyone in my family!! I think your DD is perfectly normal. DS was 50th percentile in weight and 85th in length. Most of my friends' kids weighed much more than DS.

 - 17 lbs, 27 inches
 #1- 16lbs 12ozs, 25 inches
#2- 19lbs 3 ozs, 25.25 inches
She weighs less than all 3 of mine at that age so she sounds normal to me.

I jsut put this information together for DS's scrapbook....at 4 months he was:
15 lbs. 13 oz.
26 Inches
The chart read 75% for weight and 95% for height. But he's a boy so it might vary.

14 lbs. 8 oz. and 27 inches. He was in the 95% percentile for height I believe, but 25% for weight.
50% for head is right about average actually, sounds fine!

I think thats pretty normal.
Christopher is a big baby (almost 10lb at birth!) At just over 4 months he was 18lb 3oz and 27 1/4inches long. He was just over the 95%tile in both areas.
