Weight Gain Calculator
I weighed myself this morning and I have gained 13 pounds and I am 19 weeks. I found a pregnancy weight gain calculator at babycorner.com and it says I am 3lbs over what I should be at this point in my pregnancy. Now I feel terrible.

Re: Weight Gain Calculator
I wouldn't even look at any weight gain calculator.
EVERYONE is different. Plus, depends on when you weigh yourself.
I'm 26 weeks and up 18 pounds since my first weigh in around 6 weeks.
With DS I didn't gain as much and worked out more. I also weigh less than when I was pregnant with Mason.
I had my weigh in last night at the OB and was not happy, but there's nothing I can do about it. Not gonna start dieting now. Hmmm... maybe cut back on snacking.
Doesn't help that DH bought the BJ's size container of choc covered raisins

Re: Weight Gain Calculator
I'm 17 weeks and up like 20 lbs I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm worried about it, but my Dr hasn't said anything about it.
Everyone is different. See what your Dr thinks.

I think I do have to cut back on my snacking. I just got back from my babymoon and ate really bad while I was away. I need to try to do a little better and I have to stay away from cookies.

I have my 20 week appointment next Wednesday so we will see. I guess everyone does gain at a different rate. I should have never looked at that website.

Re: Weight Gain Calculator
I wouldn't look at that - everyone is diff. People can be so healthy and workout the entire time and gain a lot - it is all up to what the baby needs you to do. I would really only listen to what your Dr has to say. Mine only started to say something around week 30, but then at my next appt and through Mon (39w) I haven't gained anymore and I am eating way more now and a lot more ice cream - go figure!

It's true everyone is different. Just try to eat healthy and exercise.
My friend was all belly and looked amazing right before she gave birth, gained 18 lbs in the first trimester. IN the end, she only gained like 25, so she gained most in the first trimester. Everyone is different.

Re: Weight Gain Calculator
13 lbs in 19weeks is excellent.. you are almost at the 1/2 way mark, and that's grea!! my doc was like a 1lb a week is what you should kind of estimate.. but if you are eating healthy there won't be any rhyme or reason the way a body will gain weight during pregnancy..

This is me too!!! With Mason I gained 26 pounds all together. Now I'm already at 18 pounds at 26 weeks. Ugh! I also lost the weight so fast after him. I feel like it's not gonna happen this time. There's no exercising like I did with him or really watching what I eat. I eat when I can and grab anything and hardly exercising. We have this whole gym in the basement... collecting dust. I went on the treadmill the other day and was on the lowest speed I ever used and out of breathe after 15 mins.
