weight gain at 25 weeks

I'm up 30 pounds :( I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I eat right, exercise... and am a petite person so I feel like a whale.

How much are/were you up at this point?

I gained about the same at that point. My weight plateued for a while then i started to gain again at around 34-35 weeks. The body does what it wants, dont worry about it if your doc is not concerned.

I was around the same at 25 weeks. I try to eat healthy, and I was upset about it, but when I asked my dr he said it's fine. Everyone's body is different during pregnancy.

At this point, I'm up 44 lbs! and almost 32 weeks. It's been a slower weight gain now, and I"m hoping it stops! But since my Dr isn't worried, I"m trying to ignore it.

A lot of it probably water weight..that's what I keep telling myself!

i know people who gained 50-60lbs in their pregnancy... obv it's a hard pill to swallow - but as long as you're doing your best to keep healthy, don't worry about it. this is the time not to obsess over weight and just enjoy

I am just shy of 27 weeks and am up 23lbs. I don't think I've gained in the past 2 weeks.

I gained 40lbs when I was pregnant...and I remember there was one month where I gained 10 out of those 40...I'm sure it will slow down, if there's an issue, the doctor will bring it up at your appointment because my best friend gained 100lbs and the doctor definitely brought it up to her

I gained the most weight around this time. I put on way less during the 3rd trimester, only a few pounds.

Honestly if your Dr isn't concerned then you shouldn't worry about it. People gain more than the "suggested" all the time.

I don't even track my weight....I let me Dr do that for me. As long as I'm not eating junk all day who cares.

I gained 66 with my first...and was up 40 pounds by 26 weeks - so you will probably be less than that

This is my 3rd baby, and this time I am 27 weeks now and at my 25 week checkup I was up 21lbs. I am also petite and feel horrible because of it. If I had to guess I would say I gained another 3-4lbs so at 27w now I am probably up 25lbs.

This time I am having a giirl and I gained it all in my butt and thighs, with my 1st DS I gained 50lb and was big all over, with DS#2 I gained 31lb total and was all belly/very small.

Every pregnancy is different. I carried different with all 3but I lost it all within 2-3 months both times. Hopefully this time I will do the same.

not quite 25 weeks....but at 24 weeks I am up 17 lbs. 2 weeks ago I went to the dr...it was the day after July 4th weekend and I had been up 20lbs....but I lost a few lbs now that I went back to trying to eat healthier.

I have the same problem with my pregnancy's I gain weight very fast, this is my 3rd pregnancy and I'm staying away from a lot of carbs and it seems to be helping!! I'm also drinking a lot of water!
