Weight gain
Omg! I'm only 10w2d and have gained 8 lbs!!! I don't know what is going on. I'm always hungry but I haven't been eating bad things. Please tell me this will start to level out. I'm so scared! On top of that we have a wedding this weekend and will have to announce to dh's family since I couldn't find any nice dresses that didn't show my stomach I'm so happy to be pg but I never expected such quick weight gain.

Re: Weight gain
That's what I had gained by 9 weeks. I'm now 31 weeks and have gained 20 lbs total. It will all balance out.

Re: Weight gain
Sweetie, as long as you are eating healthy don't put yourself through this agony.
I had gained 3 pounds by 14 weeks...was so proud of myself. Went back for my 20 week appt and was up an additional 10 pounds. I almost cried in the dr's office. Since then (at 23 weeks) I have lost a couple of pounds and should still be at a 13 week total gain (or under) for my next visit.
Bodies gain at different rates, take care of you and your baby and that's all that matters!

Re: Weight gain
You will definitely balance out. Remember that your body will gain whatever it deems necessary for you! Don't freak out about it, you have a little baby in there that makes all the weight gain worth it.

Re: Weight gain
Me too!! I am also 10W2D and I stepped on the scale today and I have gained 7 lbs. I am also hungry all the time. I don't eat a lot of junk, but I am definitely eating more and more often!

I agree. I think people get too worked up about the weight gain. Unless your Dr says soemthing about it do not obsess about it. You will gain what is right for you and your baby and please
DO NOT COMAPRE TO ANYONE ELSE!!!!!!!

Re: Weight gain
ITA as well.. but I admit that I often compare myself as well.. why I gained x more that the person around the same time as me.. and there are many reasons for that.. different body type, different starting weight, baby's growth rate.. its hard enough to imagine one person having different types of pregnancy and weight gain, let alone two... so no worries! Do what you are doing..

Re: Weight gain
I know what you mean. Right before I got pregnant I lost about 40lbs. Now the weight came back soo fast and since I got bfp I feel like I'm packing on the pounds. I just feel like I'm getting so much bigger this time around and have no clue how people at work are not going to notice right away. I guess Ill just say its summer weight gain!!!
ETA: Your weight gain balances out throughout your pregnancy. I gained about 35 lbs or so with my last pregnancy and that was mostly in the last half of the pregnancy. Keep in mind my DS was born at 35w6d at a 8lbs 8 oz. Your doctor will definitely tell you to watch your weight gain or they may say nothing.
