Weight Gain

I have been eating like a pig and it guess it caught up with me. I gained 7 pds in only a few weeks since my last visit. Thank GOD I took of my shoes or it would have been closer to ten

Anyone else gain a big amount in the middle of their pregnancy?

Don't beat yourself up over it. Weight can fluctuate from if you get weighed in the morning, or night, after eating, not after eating.

I once gained 11 lbs in 3 weeks...oh well!

Although I did not gain a large amount of weight, all of it (except for about 4lbs) was gained in my second trimester

I gained 9 lbs between weeks 16 and 21. I wasn't happy about it, but a lot of people seem to have a larger weight gain around then. I still gain weight at each appointment, but it's nowhere near that amount.

Weeks 12-16 I think was my biggest at 6lbs. Since then, I've been gaining 2-3 lbs btwn visits.

I think I have slowed down in the second tri-- I gained like 12 lbs in the first.

I think there are SO many factors in your weight, or rather your weigh in, at the doc.

This is why I weigh myself at home-- at the same time every day, NAKED.

I do notice that if I eat out the night before, or something like that-- I weigh more than I should because of water weight. Maybe that's what happened with you???

I gained 8 the first tri and 12 the second tri.....now it seems to have slowed down a bit....

i am up 35 pounds at 33 weeks, oh well. I was freaking like crazy but honestly, it is not worth the stress..the first 4 months i threw up all day and night..it is weird..I figure, when i have the baby, i will take it off working out again..i used to run a ton so i am hoping that will do the trick with some weight lifting...Make a promise to yourself not to be too hard on yourself..

I gained 8 pounds in September for a total of 25 pounds in 28 weeks. My dr. was I was .

yep. 8lbs in a month. I have since laid off the cheese, but boy do I miss it.

I had only gained 3 lbs my entire first trimester with DS, but I thikn I put on 25-30 lbs in my second, and then another 15 in my third. Thank God it all came off.

I gained 50 and Im 33 weeks and I DONT CARE. Eat and be healthy...it will come off...dont worry

I gained a lot of weight in the first trimester.. It is leveling off now but i have a feeling i had a bit of a growth spurt this week.

although i didnt gain weight until later on, it would make sense that thats when you gained since the MS usually subsides by then and you can actually start eating again! don't worry about it. if the dr is ok with it, then im sure its fine .... now go eat!
