Weekend trip away with the kids
Want to get away for a weekend. Somewhere no longer than a 4 - 5 hour drive. My boys are 4 and 2. Thinking Baltimore, Boston, maybe Mystic CT. Not sure. Want to make sure there's enough to do for a day and a half, but not too much to do where I feel like we didn't see enough.
Any ideas? Suggestions and reviews from your past weekend trips?
Was thinking of going Spring/Summer time. Doesn't have to be hot to go swimming since we have a pool that I'd love to really use this summer. 
Maybe even go with another family we're friends with if the price is right.

Baltimore might be good. There is the aquarium, baseball stadium. There are also boat rides.

It's on the pricey side, but we really did love Woodloch Pines. And if you go with another family you can look into renting a house and opting out of the meal plan.
Philadelphia can make a good weekender too. They have the please touch museum and the zoo. And if you're willing to leave the city, the Crayola FActory isn't too far.

Thanks all! Philly is only an hour from me so I'd make that a day trip and hoping to go soon.
Spoke with friends of ours who's parent's own a lake house in upstate NY so after trying to figure when and where we decided the lake house. They have a boat and it's right on the water. Done! LOL!
Now we don't have to worry about getting in every site and can play outside, in the water, go on the boat, etc during the day then grill and hang out at night.

LOL enjoy... I'm just giggling because 4-5hrs drive and we're still in Texas! My husband is realizing that. 5hrs gets me to Dallas. 4 hours maybe Beaumont, TX (closer to LA border)

We love Boston. Theres the aquarium, duck tours, quincy market. Alot of historical streets and tours but your kids may not enjoy that just yet. Its a great weekend trip.

And the childrens museum and science museum as well.
