we're having a lovely boring weekend of cleaning, organizing, and maybe lunch with SO's kids.

Hanging out with friends and having a few beers in the park.
Cleaning.
Lesson Planning.
Paperwork.
Getting organized for the next week and doing my food shopping.
Enjoying the sun on my balcony.

Being sick.  DH is taking DD to the beach to visit his aunt who is in from Ireland so I'll be vegging out on the couch with my dog, garbage food, and all the crap TV I can stomach.
I've had a whirlwind of a week... I found out I'm pregnant Saturday... had to very unexpectedly put my older dog to sleep on Sunday (cancer  )... DD had croup on Monday/Tuesday... now I'm sick with whatever leftover crap cold she gave me... And I had to be at work because my co-worker is out on vacation. Oh, also a giant spider fell out of the sky and landed on my eye behind my glasses this morning. Soooooo I need a weekend of nothing thank you very much.

Yesterday we went to the theater for a fee showing of the greatest showman. I need to pick up some goody bag stuff for birthday party. I also cleaned out my kids closets. Two contractor bags full of clothing that I am giving away with multiple sizes to friends with younger kids. I also need to clean for the electrician. We are redoing a few rooms with new lighting so I want to put a lot away in my kids rooms to make sure the electrician can get to work. My son's room has no over head lighting, and we are putting some in. I am happy for him because it will make a big difference for his room.

BBQ that's not a BBQ (catered Italian food) on Saturday afternoon / evening.
Sunday, food shopping, cleaning, food prep for the week.
Have to squeeze in laundry at some time too.

Camping with the cub scouts. While I love camping the thought of doing it with a group of boys makes me want to pluck my eyelashes out one by one. And no alcohol allowed.

I was just going to suggest the same thing— Vodka with some club soda; however, I cannot really drink vodka much these days). I brought a glass of wine to the salon (in a concealed bottle) a few weeks ago. I was like, whatever, and they were cool with it. They only serve coffee and water, and the dye job took forever (like 3 hours). I cannot drink coffee, so I brought my own drink.

Thank you both. Still stick but I had a pretty relaxing weekend. I binged pretty much an entire season of Brooklyn 99 and ordered in dinner.

I'm going for a week with 10 Boy Scouts, ages 11 to 16. 
DW always has a bottle (or two) of something chilling for me when I get home from these things...
