Week one

So dd is one week old. She only wants to be held by me. I nurse on demand and then she will fall asleep but when I try to transition her she wakes up and cries. Basically she is either nursing or sleeping in my arms. Please tell me this changes. She also hates when dh holds her

It definitely changes
She only wants you bc that's all she knew for the past 9 months. Your heartbeat probably calms her.
If you have a moby wrap or something similar try wearing her so you won't be stuck in one spot.
At that age I just let my DS sleep on me and I would try to nap or at least close my eyes for awhile.
Have you tried putting her in a bouncer or rock n play?
