Wedding gift spin off
If you are sending a gift to someone's home that will arrive after the wedding, do you also bring a card to the wedding?
If you do , do you mention in the card that the gift is on the way?
I usually only do actual gifts for close family & give it in person at the rehearsal dinner, but I am sending something to my boss because I feel weird giving money & it hasn't arrived yet & her wedding is Saturday.

Re: Wedding gift spin off
We bring a card to the wedding regardless of whether or not the gift was delivered before the date. But if it hadn't arrived, yes, I'd put a note saying that I hope that they like the gift that was on the way or sent to the house or something like that. sometimes, you can't control the shipping/delivery schedule and it will be late no matter what.

Yes, I'd write a little note that their gift is on its way, or give an estimated date of delivery or something.
