Wedding Gift Question
We can't make it to a friends wedding because we have another wedding the same day, but I'm not sure what the etiquette is on gifts for weddings that you don't attend.
This friend came solo to our wedding and gave us a $200 check.
We would of course give a gift for his wedding, but should we match what he gave us if we aren't going? I'm just not sure what the protocol is.

Re: Wedding Gift Question
I would definitely give the same gift as you received from him, even if you are not attending the wedding. That is what I have done in the past.
