Webkinz-Need Help
OK, I must admit that until Barb got Maddie the unicorn, I did not know what the heck these things were. Well, I still don't really.
Now, I was asked to see if I can find one for someone. Where can I get them from? Where are they sold? Preferably in NYC, Queens or Nassau.

Twigs and Fantastic Kids Toys in Great Neck have them, and often have a pretty good selection.

Matty's toys in/near Floral Park has them. I would call little toy shops in your area and ask. If you have time you can order them onthe internet too.

Is there a specific one they're looking for? I ask because I know some are limited edition runs, so you may not be able to find them.
Ganz Retailers
I called over 6 stores in Manhattan & they were completely sold out of them. None knew when the next shipment is coming in other than "maybe in the next week". I think Ganz's customer service to their retailers is pretty poor because they're not telling any of them.
If you find them, a suggestion:
I have a bag of them for birthday gifts for the kids' friends because they seem to be extremely popular with a boy or girl in the 3-9 year old range.

A lot of independent card stores sells them (like the 50% off card stores)-they usually will have a big sign out in front. I know that the Hallmark card store in Walt Whitman has them (at least last week they did!)

they have a link on their site where you can look up where they are sold in your town..
they way these things sell copy down a couple of different places...
