Weather app

Does anyone else hate the weather app on the phone?! LOL!
Serioulsly one second I look and it shows beautiful for the next few days and literally an hour later looks like a monsoon is coming. WTF?
You can't plan anything anymore.

Weather app

I hate it too. Just having this conversation with a coworker. I have an iphone and he has an android and we have two completely different weather reports for same area. Bizarre.

i paid for Dark Sky its pretty accurate though I will say sometimes it won't show its going to rain till a few minutes before hand but for the most part I really do l like it and find it pretty spot on.

Love Dark Sky! It’s the most accurate one I’ve found.

Re: Weather app

One of the biggest issues is that the graphics show a cloud at 49% chance of rain, and rainclouds with lightning at 50% chance of rain. Even though it's statistically the same exact chance of rain, the outlook appears very different.

That's why I like seeing the actual % numbers hourly.

Yes I hate it too. Made my plans yesterday based on the rain and then it didn’t rain until much later!

I use the Accuweather app and its been pretty accurate. I get a lot of weather related alerts and it tell you how far away the rain is in minutes.

I never look at the one that comes on the iphone. I use Accuweather which seems to be be pretty decent. I also use WTForecast, but that's just for entertainment!

Weather app

I downloaded Weather Bug. It's ok, but I don't love it. I am trying to make plans for this weekend and that is proving impossible. WeatherBug is saying a pretty nice day on Saturday, and cloudy and rainy on Sunday. But, like 4 other weather sites have it dreary and rainy Saturday afternoon. Ugh who knows lol.

Re: Weather app

Ugh going through this right now. We have a block party and bbq on Saturday and trying to figure out which forecast to believe. Figures it hardly rains all summer and it rains the one weekend we have outdoor plans.

I agree with Accuweather. It will tell you how things will be hour by hour and it’s very accurate. It’s free, too.

Re: Weather app

I don't like any of those weather apps. I follow Island Wide Weather on Facebook. Most Accurate around and entertaining as well!
