wearing a bra 24/7
since having my DD 13 months ago and BF, ive taken to wearing my bra ALL THE TIME. in those first months it was a necessity, as they were huge and hard and leaky and needed the support. and now that i am only BF twice a day and my boobs have definitely gone down, i still find i wear my bra all the time. the only time its off is when im in the shower. its just how im confortable now, i guess, which is odd bc i was always a lover of unencumbered sleeping pre-DD.
do you think there are any negatives to constant bra wearing? should i go back to taking it off at nighttime? do any of you do this?
i am thinking that one positive is the support theyre getting, and maybe they wont be down to my ankles when im older.

Ha! I am the opposite! Baby is 5 &1/2 months (EBF) and I can't wait to get this damn thing off!!
But to answer your question, I don't think it matters if you wear it all the time. If that's how you are comfy, go for it!

Re: wearing a bra 24/7
I began wearing a bra at night as well bc of the leaking issue. It's a sleep bra that does not have an underwire so I don't think there's any negative to it.

Me too. I just don't like the feeling of my shirt rubbing against my bare nips and even though I have tiny boobs, I don't like the feelign of them bouncing around. I like to feel supported all the time. I can't imagine how that would hurt at all...

Re: wearing a bra 24/7
When I was EP i always wore a bra. I switched to a sports bra once I got home from work and got in pj's and slept in it too. I was dying to get out of the bra once I was done pumping. When I stopped I couldnt help but continue to wear the sports bra around the house, I felt weird just letting them hang and it still felt weird with my nips rubbing on my shirt, something I was never uncomfortable with. Maybe they're a little sensitive still?? But, I did start to take it off at night and just sleep topless.

Re: wearing a bra 24/7
I'm 10 months pp and I wear a bra all the time. I sleep in either a sports bra for the support with no wires, or if its warm a target nursing tank. I can not imaging not wearing a bra. I EP and my breast still hurt/are sensitive most of the time.

Re: wearing a bra 24/7
when I was nursing I would wear a bra 24/7 or a nursing tank.
Now I don't sleep with a bra on but usually a cami with a shelf bra
