We were so proud of Em this morning...(totally tmi!)

We were cleaning so we had her in her undies, no diaper, and kept putting her on the potty about every 20 minutes, with no luck.

Then all of a sudden she cries out Peepee in the potty mommy peepee in the potty and comes running into the kitchen and peed right on the floor.

I was so annoyed because I had just had her on the potty 5 minutes earlier and she wouldn't go! I swear she tries to hold it in until she is wearing a diaper!

But I tried not to let her know I was peeved, and I put her on the potty to see if anything else would come out.

All of a sudden we hear a plop (tmi!) and she starts cheering for herself, and it turns out she made a major major poo in the potty!

As frustrating as it was that she peed on the floor, we were flipping out excited that she pooped in the potty because she had never done that before. Normally she waits for her diaper to be on and then hides in the corner.

This potty training stuff is such a slow-go! I wish it were easier!!

Emily! Make a HUGE deal of it! My son couldn't get enought praise (and treats!!) when he started pooping on the potty and he picked it up so fast, he was #2 trained 6 months before he pee trained!
