We ordered our washer/dryer...
We looked them up on Consumer Reports and they are rated #1 for front-loaders.....I just can't believe how expensive they are, but I have to admit I am looking forward to using them! We got the LG Tromm Steamwasher and matching dryer...

I KNOW! Why can't house stuff be affordable?!
I just want the weather to get warmer - my house is so cold right now - I am SO NOT used to oil heat!

Hate to be the bearer of bad news.... I thought the same thing when we bought our house a year and a half ago....guess what... it never ends!

Congrats!!!
We have them and I LOVE them! I haven't used the Steam function yet, but they do a great job cleaning & drying the clothes. I saw a noticeable difference.
